Terms for using witsteen.com. Game services will have their own terms before launch.

Who we are

These terms cover browsing this website. Game accounts, online services, virtual items and purchases will have their own game terms and the terms of the platform you use. These website terms do not create a purchase contract or grant access to any game.

Using the website

You may view these pages for personal use and share links to them. Use the website lawfully. Do not introduce malicious code, interfere with its operation, try to get around access controls or pretend to be Witsteen.

Heroes and Forsaken is in development. Artwork, features and other information may change. A wishlist is not a release date or a promise of beta access, and features described as planned or in development are not available services.

Intellectual property

The website's branding, text, artwork and other materials, including the Witsteen crest and name and the Heroes and Forsaken materials, belong to Witsteen or to the relevant rights holders and licensors, including those of The Wheel of Time. Viewing this website does not give you ownership of these materials or a licence to use them commercially. Press and partners can ask for approved materials at press@witsteen.com. Nothing in these terms limits any use the law allows you.

The four photographs in the Antwerp section are the work of other photographers and are used under Creative Commons licences (CC BY 2.0, CC BY 3.0, CC BY 4.0 and CC BY-SA 4.0). The credit line under them names each author and links to the photograph and its licence. Those licences, not the paragraph above, apply to those photographs, and the cropped and graded versions on this website keep the licence of the original.

Other services

The Heroes and Forsaken website, Steam, the Epic Games Store and social platforms are separate services with their own terms, policies and regional availability. This website does not take payments or handle refunds; any purchase, cancellation or refund is between you and the platform, subject to your rights under the law.

Availability and liability

We may change the website or interrupt it for maintenance or security. Information on this website is provided for your information and may go out of date.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law or limits your mandatory consumer or data protection rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim in the courts there.
